Returns & Refunds

Returns of unopened and resalable items are accepted within 30 days from the date of purchase, excluding special order products. Items must be undamaged and in their original packaging. Please note that the buyer is responsible for the postage costs incurred for any items being returned. The goods will be deemed returned when received by HOME IMAGE DIRECT LTD. Returns for any other reason (e.g. products are defective) will require us to examine the products prior to agreeing to refund any monies. This will be done within a reasonable period of time (usually 14 days) and we will inform you of our decision.

If the product is faulty or defective, a full replacement will be made at no charge or a full refund will be issued. It is important that you keep all product labels and we advise that all rolls are inspected for faults before hanging as a refund/replacement cannot be issued once the product has been hung. HOME IMAGE DIRECT LTD shall not be liable for any decorators’ costs. In the unlikely event of a fault please contact us immediately. We may ask you to send back the product outlining the fault along with all necessary product labels. We again emphasize that you check all wallpaper products for faults before hanging and keep all product labels until you finish decorating.

The majority of wallpapers printed in Europe are packed backwards so you must check the direction of the design before hanging. No claims for this will be accepted. All plain wallpapers must be hung in the same direction unless otherwise stated. A reversely hung sheet may look different in shade compared to the other sheets. It is not possible for sheets from the same roll to have different shades. Again, no claims for this will be accepted. For tips and advice head over to our Helpful Page on wallpaper hanging below.

Canceling an Order

Due to the quick turnaround time both in our warehouse and picking line, once an order has been confirmed we are unable to make changes or cancel an order that has already been dispatched. You may still contact us; to cancel your order if we have not already confirmed or picked your order, if you need to update your delivery address, or if you would like to include additional items from the same batch.
